On January 20, 2010, the North American Representative Office of Shenzhen, China (NAROS) joined its business alliance, the Maryland-China Business Council (MCBC) in Jessup, Maryland at MCBC's annual meeting. Around 50 guests including the members of MCBC's Board as well as the representatives of the key business in Maryland attended the evening event.

The meeting started with a networking reception, which followed by a featured presentation by Mr. Yijun (Donald) Tan, President of the China Telecom Americas Corporation, introducing China Telecom? business in North America to the audience. The meeting closed with an election of the MCBC Board of Directors for the year of 2010.
