The North American Representative Office of Shenzhen, China (NAROS) participated and sponsored San Diego World Trade Center (SDWTC) 2010 6th Annual China Business Outlook Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, La Jolla on January 28, 2010. This half day event discussed China's economy in 2009 and its prospects for 2010.
With over 150 attendees, this event consisted of two panel discussions on manufacturing and operations, and outbound Chinese investment. Panel 1 included companies currently doing business in China on a manufacturing and operations basis with Pulse Engineering, Goodrich Aerostrcutures, and FedEx gave their perspectives on doing business in China, as well as advice to those entering China. Panel 2 included outbound Chinese investment perspectives from Peguin Investment Funds, Air China, and the Imperial Valley Economic Development Corp. (IVEDC).
NAROS business development director, Rober Fraser, and operations manager, Grace Chen staffed the Shenzhen booth at the event and was available to answer questions attendees have. Many acknowledged our sponsorship and were interested in our services.
