The North American Representative Office of Shenzhen, P.R. China attended the 7th Annual Global California Conference titled "Create New Jobs with Exports and Online Technologies" on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce building. The conference was presented by TradePort in cooperation with Monterey Bay International Trade Association, El Camino Center for International Trade Development, The Valley International Trade Association, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
As a result of President Obama's newly instated export initiative, with the goal of doubling the nation's export volume, the conference included speakers from both the private and public exporting sectors. Speakers presented information on services aimed at aiding exporting companies as well as representatives from exporting companies sharing their organizations' success stories. The event was followed by a time allotted for networking. During this time, NAROS was able to establish many contacts and business leads. The North American Representative Office of Shenzhen, P.R. China excitedly awaits next year's conference.
