The North American Representative Office of Shenzhen, P.R. China (NAROS) and the Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association (HYSTA) have formed a strategic alliance after closely cooperating to successfully organize an information technology event in Santa Clara, CA, the previous month. The two parties signed a memorandum of understanding outlining ways in which the two entities can work together and promote US-China business exchanges. The signatories to the agreement are Mr. Heng Huang, Marketing Director of HYSTA, and Mr. Andrew Pan, Chief Representative and Managing Director of NAROS.
The basic framework for cooperation is outlined in four categories of collaboration. These include information-sharing regarding direct investment leads, information-sharing regarding trade leads, cooperation and joint participation in events, and assistance and mutual promotion whereby the two parties agree to exchange website presence and assist each other with logistics and other matters pertaining to trade missions, and visiting delegations.
This alliance is intended to deepen the City of Shenzhen's already large presence on the West Coast as well as promote Shenzhen's IT sector to one of the United State's most prestigious IT regions. It will also serve to further educate companies interested in China about opportunities in Shenzhen. This new relationship will prove invaluable to both organizations and is expected to be kept close.
